As a form of implementing environmental education and commitment to sustainability, students of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) carried out an activity to implement climate change material at SMA 7 Padang, as well as organizing a Beach Clean-Up and Environmental Education event at Gajah Beach, Padang. This activity involved students and the surrounding community as a concrete effort to raise awareness about the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems. In addition to the beach clean-up action, participants also attended an educational session on the impact of plastic waste on marine environments and engaged in an interactive discussion to formulate local solutions to reduce pollution. Through this activity, the students not only gained hands-on experience in the field but also deepened their understanding of the individual’s role in supporting environmental sustainability.
